A Quick Reminder About Holiday Magic
As the holidays fast approach, it’s worth remembering that much of the holiday magic is powered by women’s labor, the unseen, more than often unacknowledged work that makes this time of year feel special for families and loved ones. From planning and cooking to wrapping gifts and maintaining traditions, it’s women who carry the emotional and physical load that turns ordinary days into something extraordinary.
That magic is real, and it matters. It takes work. It creates memories your family will treasure for years to come. But if you find yourself not enjoying or even dreading the season, as many of my clients have shared, it may be time to pause and reflect on just how much of yourself you’re pouring into making the holidays magical for everyone else, but yourself.
This is your reminder that you deserve a magical holiday season, too. And sometimes, that magic begins with doing less. Less perfection, less pressure, less “making it special” for everyone else. Or maybe it means the same amount of magic, but with more help. You deserve to have that help.
Your peace and joy are worth celebrating, too.
